Well, before I actually leave for Peru, I have to get the proper immunizations. Last week when I checked this out, it was no problem. Get my typhoid and Hep A => good to go. Today when I called the Tarrant County Travel Clinic, though, I was informed that no appointments are being scheduled for at least another week due to swine flu. wth. With just over 4 weeks left, this does make me pretty nervous. So everybody, keep your fingers crossed that these people come to their senses and let me get immunized so I don't arrive in Lima only to be kicked right back to the United States. I didn't make a blog so I could write about a month of living in Fort Worth, dang it.
